Our Story
Mrinmoyee began in a small kitchen where our grandmother cooked hilsa in mustard on an open clay stove — mrinmoyee means "of the earth." That same patience still shapes every plate we serve: slow-cooked gravies, hand-ground spice, and rice steamed the old way.
Today we bring that same hearth into a quieter, more considered room — where the ritual of a Bengali meal is treated the way it deserves to be.

Guests
"The kosha mangsho tasted like something my grandmother would have made. Rare, in a restaurant this polished."
— Farhana Ahmed"Every corner of the room feels intentional — gold light, quiet service, and a hilsa dish I still think about."
— Tanvir Hasan"We booked for an anniversary and it became our new tradition. The biriyani alone is worth the visit."

Tables are limited each evening to keep the room quiet and the kitchen unhurried. We'll confirm by phone within the hour.
